Klarna on Apple Pay

As one of the three lead designers and the representative from the Payment Method domain, I played a crucial role in integrating Klarna as a payment option in the Apple Pay Wallet for customers in the US, UK, and Canada. I spearheaded the initial integration of Apple Pay within the Klarna app and led the comprehensive redesign of the in-app browser Wallet. My main focus was on enhancing the Klarna checkout experience, aiming to deliver a seamless and versatile payment journey for users in these regions.

One Click Experience

Klarna's new auto-selection logic called OneClick aims to enhance the checkout experience by anticipating and preselecting the most suitable payment option for customers, promoting a seamless "one click" experience.

App Handover

App Handover is a versatile feature designed to streamline and secure the shopping experience for Klarna users across various platforms. This includes mobile web environments, iOS and Android app ecosystems, as well as desktop interfaces. It works seamlessly from browser platforms like Safari and Chrome to the Klarna app (Klapp), providing a unified shopping and checkout experience.

Klarna Engineering Platform (KEP) Domain - IDEA Group - Information & Tooling Experience Team (ITX)

As a domain designer, I collaborated with Product Managers, Accountable Leads, Accountable Group Leads, and engineering teams to reinforce the Product Design Thinking methodology in Klarna Engineering Platform (KEP). To improve collaboration, I introduced a design project checklist and collaborated on KEP Office Hours, a voluntary help session to mentor engineers in product thinking and improve user experience. The goal was to help Klarna save money by improving and increasing the use of Klarna Engineering Platform (KEP) services instead of external vendors.

Additionally, I moderated and organized most of the IDEAs design critique sessions, helping engineers build even better internal products by providing constructive feedback.

KEP. Docs

KEP.docs was a crucial technical resource for Klarna's engineers, product managers, and data scientists. In my role, I enhanced its user interface by unifying header designs and applying consistent color coding to different product groups. Further, to streamline navigation, I implemented progressive disclosure and improved the search function's performance. These improvements played a significant part in KEP.docs' evolution into Klarna Wiki, the current comprehensive documentation platform at Klarna.

KEP Portal

The KEP Portal is a centralized platform designed for Klarna's engineers to effectively manage their systems and services. Built upon Backstage.io, an open-source platform by Spotify, it offers dynamic, user-friendly interface for monitoring and maintaining system health. During my tenure as a designer, I prioritized the design of the user account experience as well as visualizing system dependencies, aiming to streamline workflows and enhance productivity.

Design Chapter - Research Enablement Pillar/Ops

With the aid of standard templates and other enabling tools, I supported and established metrics to measure the return on investment (ROI) of design. This helped to foster a better understanding of Doodlers' users and ecosystem. Additionally, I improved the user recruitment processes to achieve better research outcomes.

Scheduling Experience Team (SaaS)

As a leader, I took charge of the premium organizer experience by overseeing the development and iteration of Doodle SaaS flow, starting from the minimum viable product (MVP) to further enhancements. Moreover, I onboarded and led a team of three product designers responsible for both SaaS and Free Doodle.

Scheduling Experience Team (SaaS)

As a member of Doodle's Scheduling Experience Team for their SaaS offering, I implemented new design processes that included creating project timelines, design documentation, a design checklist, and a new testing panel. I led the planning and execution of user research, analyzed the data, and presented key findings to stakeholders. I also designed user flows for the Premium Organizer Experience and effectively communicated them through wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and visual design assets.

Monetization / Group Team (Free Users - 30 Million Monthly Active)

As a member of the Monetization/Group Team for Doodle's free offering, I was responsible for designing and planning multivariate testing to optimize user engagement and revenue. Additionally, I set up research methods company-wide and conducted recurring user tests named "UX Bug Hunter" to continuously improve the user experience for our large user base of 30 million monthly active users.
